Monash Micro Imaging

MMI is a national leading imaging facility, consisting of a cluster of two core laboratories based on the Clayton campus (Bio Electron Microscopy and Advanced Optical Imaging) and specialised Imaging Nodes at Monash Health Research Precinct (Clayton) and the AMREP (Prahran).
MMI supported technologies include advanced light microscopy, fluorescence and confocal microscopy, multiphoton microscopy, and fluorescence applications such as FRAP, TIRF, cell tracking, and kinetics.
The Bio EM Facility supports both Scanning EM and Transmission EM, and boasts special expertise in cryo‑sectioning and immuno‑labelling for detecting proteins and peptides at the ultrastructural level.
